What is HEIC
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Coding) is the default photo format since iOS 11+. It has a small file size but limited compatibility, and many platforms and apps cannot view it directly, requiring conversion to JPG.
Quality Settings
JPG is a lossy compression format; higher quality means larger files. 85%-95% is recommended to balance quality and size. For lossless output, convert to PNG instead.
