PDF Add Header/Footer

Features

The PDF header/footer tool supports independent header/footer toggles, with each header and footer divided into left/center/right segments for separate input. Supports three variable replacements: {page} current page, {total} total pages, {date} current date (YYYY-MM-DD). Text is rendered to PNG via Canvas and embedded into the PDF; system fonts natively support Chinese without garbled characters. Customizable font size, color, and start page. All processing happens locally in the browser; no files are uploaded, protecting your privacy.

Steps

1. Click or drag to upload a PDF file
2. Enable the header/footer toggle (at least one must be enabled)
3. Fill in text in the left/center/right input fields; leave empty to skip that segment
4. You can use variables in text: {page}, {total}, {date}
5. Set font size, color, and start page
6. Click the "Add Header/Footer" button, then download the PDF when done

Notes

• Header/footer can be toggled independently; at least one must be enabled
• Empty segments are not displayed; at least one segment must have text
• Variables {page} and {total} are replaced per current page, {date} is replaced with today's date
• Start Page: which page to start adding header/footer from (e.g., set to 3 to skip the first 2 pages)
• Text is rendered using Canvas system fonts; Chinese display requires no extra font loading
• All file processing runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to a server, protecting your privacy
