Features

The PDF page number tool supports 6 formats: plain numbers (1, 2, 3...), decorated (- 1 -), Chinese (第 1 页), total pages (1 / N), Chinese with total (第 1 页 共 N 页), and Chinese uppercase (壹贰叁). Page number text is rendered to PNG via Canvas and embedded into the PDF; system fonts natively support Chinese without garbled characters. Provides 6 positions (top/bottom × left/center/right), customizable font size, color, start number, and start page. All processing happens locally in the browser; no files are uploaded, protecting your privacy.

Steps

1. Click or drag to upload a PDF file
2. Choose page number position (bottom/top × center/left/right)
3. Choose page number format (6 options, including Chinese and Chinese uppercase)
4. Set font size, color, start number, and start page
5. Click the "Add Page Numbers" button, then download the numbered PDF

Notes

• Page number text is rendered using Canvas system fonts; Chinese display requires no extra font loading
• Chinese uppercase format supports numbers 1-99; out-of-range values fall back to plain numbers
• Start Number: the starting number displayed (e.g., set to 2 to show 2 on the first page)
• Start Page: which page to start adding numbers from (e.g., set to 3 to skip the first 2 pages)
• All file processing runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to a server, protecting your privacy
