PDF Signature

Features

The PDF signature tool provides two methods: 'Draw Signature' and 'Upload Image Signature'. Signatures are stored in a library and can be reused. The same signature can be added to any page, and multiple signatures (same or different) can be placed on the same page, each independently draggable and scalable. After uploading a PDF, page thumbnails are rendered, and signatures are overlaid as layers, providing WYSIWYG editing. Finally, pdf-lib maps and embeds the signatures proportionally into the actual PDF coordinates. All processing is done locally in the browser; no files are uploaded, protecting your privacy.

Steps

1. Click or drag to upload a PDF file
2. In the 'Prepare Signature' card, choose draw or upload image mode, then click 'Add to Library'
3. The signature will be auto-placed on the current page; drag the signature on the thumbnail to adjust position
4. After switching pages, click 'Add to Current Page' in the signature library to place the same signature on other pages
5. Click a signature on the thumbnail to select it; adjust scale or delete it below
6. Multiple signatures can be placed on the same page, each with independent position and scale
7. Click the 'Add Signatures to PDF' button, then download the signed PDF

Notes

• Drawn signatures are auto-cropped to the bounding box of strokes
• Drawn signatures have transparent backgrounds and can be overlaid directly on PDF text; image signatures should use transparent PNG
• Library signatures are reusable; the same signature can be added to multiple pages
• Multiple signatures can be placed on the same page, each with independent position and scale
• Scale range 0.2x ~ 3.0x, default 1.0x (about 150px wide)
• Drag positions are stored in thumbnail pixel coordinates and converted proportionally to actual PDF coordinates on export
• All file processing is done locally in the browser; nothing is uploaded to the server, protecting your privacy
