Real-time statistics of the number of characters, Chinese characters, English words, lines, paragraphs and other indicators of the text, and estimate the reading time, suitable for writing typesetting and content review.
Statistics
- Total characters: all characters with spaces and line breaks
- Whitespace-excluded characters: the number of whitespace characters removed
- Number of Chinese characters: matches Unicode Chinese range (including extension area)
- English words: English words separated by spaces and punctuation
- Paragraphs: non-empty blocks of text separated by empty lines
- Reading time: 300 words/minute in Chinese, 200 words/minute in English
Notes
All statistics are done in the local browser, and no text content is uploaded; when Chinese and English are mixed, statistics are calculated according to their respective calibers.
